Ensemble Trivium is a vibrant collective of leading Brisbane musicians, centred around a core of flute, violin and viola. Known for performances that combine timeless masterworks, contemporary pieces and new commissions.
The program opens with Debussy’s Sonata for flute, viola and harp — a gentle, shimmering soundscape. Françaix’s String Trio sparkles with wit, elegance and irresistible charm. Shaw’s Limestone & Felt creates a moment of stillness. The concert closes with Jongen’s virtuosic and warmly expressive Concert à cinq.
