Red Chair is an independent Queensland performing arts company based on Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi country in the Sunshine Coast region.
For over 22 years we have assisted independent Queensland artists to create, present and tour new work, to build partnerships and collaborations, grow new audiences, develop career pathways and realise opportunities for deeper engagement with communities.
Each year we produce 8 tours of live music performance, the Keeper Project — a place-based visual arts project — and continue rehearsal, presentation and touring opportunities for the People’s Orchestra.
