Sunshine Coast Guitar Orchestra

The Sunshine Coast Guitar Orchestra is a community-based orchestra with high musical ambitions, led by award-winning composer and guitarist Andrew Veivers. The ensemble draws from diverse musical traditions globally and welcomes everyone — from beginners to advanced players of any age.

Rehearsals take place from 6–8pm at The MET, Maroochydore. The repertoire spans world, folk, classical, film and rock styles, offering a rich and varied musical experience for both players and audiences.

Andrew Veivers is one of Australia’s finest Spanish guitarists, having worked with organisations including Sydney Theatre Company, Opera Queensland and the Woodford Folk Festival.
